Incident Management (Cat 2)

This course provides Category 2 responders with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively support multi-agency incident management arrangements. It focuses on understanding roles, responsibilities, coordination structures, and information-sharing duties during emergencies and major incidents.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of how Category 2 organisations contribute to preparedness, response, and recovery, and how to work efficiently alongside Category 1 responders within established command and control frameworks.

The course combines theory, real-world case studies, and scenario-based exercises to build confidence in operating during complex, fast-moving incidents.
